 「靈糧堂秀德小學」為一所政府資助之基督教全日制小學。蒙 神的恩賜，本校獲教育署核准，於主曆二零零零年九月在東涌第十七區正式投入服務，積極發展教育事工。 本校是「基督教靈糧世界佈道會香港靈糧堂」首間以「中、小學一條龍模式」開辦的全日制小學，位於大嶼山的東涌。中、小學兩校舍毗鄰而立，連停車場總面積達十七萬平方呎。 香港靈糧堂一向竭力於教育及福音工作，會友黃怡文弟兄熱心於教育事業。夫人吳秀德女士年前歸回主懷，先生捐助本校教育事工同時，以夫人名字為本校取名「秀德」，以表對妻子的思念。 「秀德」一詞亦代表本校的教育理想：「秀」指優秀；「德」指良好品德，「秀德」象徵我們要培育一群優秀並有良好品德的學生。本著基督的愛，讓學生在成長中獲得全面的、快樂的和具成效的發展。 Founded by the Ling Liang Worldwide Evangelistic Mission, the school is the first through-train mode whole day primary school in Tung Chung, Lantau Island. It is next to its sister school, E Wun Secondary School, including the car park reaching an area of 170,000 square feet. |

本校設備非常完善，其中包括：標準課室30間、大禮堂、學生活動室、有蓋操場、籃球場、音樂室2間、電腦室2間、資訊科技學習中心、視覺藝術室、圖書館、常識室、數學活動室、英語活動室2間及祈禱室等等。除此之外，本校亦設有：空中農莊、海洋閣，秀德文化公園及語言學習車等不同的學習景點供學生學習、觀賞及休憩之用。   
 
Our school has 30 standard classrooms, a school hall, a student activity room, covered playground, two basketball courts, two music rooms, two computer rooms, an Information Technology Learning Centre, a visual art room, school library, a General Studies activity room, a Mathematics activity room, three English activity rooms and a prayer room. In addition, our school has a Sky Farm, Sau Tak Park and a Language Learning Bus for students to learn and explore in a relaxed manner. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped for multi-media teaching. |

星期一至五
˙上課時間：上午8:20回校，下午3:35分放學。
˙每天設50分鐘導修課（在課室做家課及閱讀）。
˙星期五：上午8:20-8:40為秀德操。
˙星期五：下午2:45-3:35為課外活動時間。
午膳
˙午膳時間：下午12:30-1:00
˙形式：家長可選擇訂購午膳、學生自行帶備午膳或家長送飯。
 學生成長
˙三至六年級分程度編班，於優良班及加強班的中英數進行教材調適，於優良班強化高階思維及批判思考等訓練，於加強班提升其基礎能力及學習動機。
˙為學習能力較高之學生開辦創意英語寫作及數學精英小組，提供資優教育培訓。
˙為學習能力稍遜之學生，設有課後輔導小組。
˙參加「成長的天空」計劃，為小四至小六學生提升抗逆能力。
˙提供升中預備活動、小一適應週、暑期補習班、成長小組等活動及服務來支援學生學習和成長。
˙專業社工全職駐校，教育心理學家定期到訪，關顧學生學習成長及情緒行為問題，提供家長培訓。

 本校為一所基督教學校，附設教會，學生及家長可於週日參與崇拜。學校每週設一節聖經課，並透過早會、週會、宗教週、團契活動、宗教小組和基督少年軍來宣揚基督大愛。
Religion Education
 The school is a Christian school run by the church. All are welcome to the worship on Sundays. There is a bible lesson once a week. In addition, we have morning assembly, weekly assembly, gospel week, Christian fellowship, morning prayer group and the Boys' Brigade to help students grow in body and spirit.
